Hello Alex,

my post was not meant to scare off or to insult somebody here on hf.de.

Actually I appreciate your efforts to improve your services and to keep this forum interesting at all times which helps to keep me and others here as a regular users as well

😉

Despite my concerns I am open minded and greatful for all comments so far and I am looking forward how this new topic is going to evolve.

Kai

I think, like Alex wrote in his last post, even if no foreign hoteliers join this, it's a good practice for all german users. The english-lessons at school are so bad that i think i don't even know starter-vocabulary and so i see this as a chance for me 😀
I hope other users will use it more when they see how important languages in our job are...

p.S.: What about a spanish-forum? 😆

Loving this. I take any chance I can get to practice my english skills and keep it at its high level ( 8) )but so far I haven't had one in my field of work :super:

I haven't used this forum much during my apprenticeship (yeah, I know I'm an idiot 😛 ) but I intend to do so in future.

By the way, if anybody needs any help with translations or has trouble understanding something, I'm always happy to help.

So, how about bringing this thread back to life?

Who wants to practise his/her english a bit? Seems like it cooled down a bit since my last appearance her, sorry for that.

I was actually busy with "something", hopefully I'll be able to report on that in the coming week, so stay put and keep your fingers crossed for me.

cheers mates

Guys, more than a year pasted by since the last posting here. Ok, I must admit, I was kind of lazy as well the last year that I spent in Abu Dhabi, but what are your excuses???

Let's get this thread moving again...

Hmm First of all I need to say that I am a newbie on your board ( 2nd Post^^) but in this couple of hours i already found a lot i am interested in.
As well as this what i am "trying" actually^^:), I think its tru that the most of us speaks nearly daily english at work. But we also need to notice that it always is the same we are talking about: How to get to downtown, where is this where is that, which time is this and which time is that....
This Board gives us all a nice practice plattform where ( i hope so) nobody will laugh about you if you make spelling mistakes;) right? 🙄

Well,...its about 04:10 in the morning i had night shifts the last days why i cant sleep,..but anyhow i need to try got the late shift today *yaayy-.^*

Cant wait to read somethink from anybody 😆
Good Night... :guinness:

Definitely, this board is not created to make fun of spelling mistakes, though it might be helpful to remind each other if there are some absolutely no-go mistakes. I think that is part of a learning process.

By this way a very warm welcome at hotelfach.de, I'm glad that you found the way to our community and hope that you will have tons of fun with us 🙂

Are you actually Austrian or a German working in Austria? As well if you are German how long are you living in Austria already?

Cheers

Andy

I have been in Vienna long time ago and I really like this city.

Don't worry about this trainee, believe me when you think it can't get worse there is another one showing up topping everything you ever saw before 😀 Just learned that at my new Job recently. It is really difficult to motivate people who don't even care to lose their job...

Anyway you're right, reading in this board is sometimes extremely calming after a rough day...
